In Acts 2 we read: When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

What a start… A gathering together, a filling of the spirit and then a going out to tell the world about Jesus.That filling resulted in the gospel spreading across the globe and millions finding faith and life as they surrendered their hearts to Jesus.

Oh for the Lord to do it again…

As we approach this Pentecost we are looking to gather online to celebrate what God has done across our movement over the past hundred years. As the spirit took a hold of us, He drove us out with this simple mandate- to go and belt the globe for Christ. The result is a movement of diverse cultures but with one missional heart- to follow Jesus’s leading and to spread the gospel.

We are also excited to be partnering again with the National Day of Prayer and Worship (NDOPW) promoting their “Back to Pentecost” event as a complimentary event to lead into our 100 years of mission celebration.
